About The Position

You will join Canada’s largest agricultural network, created by and for producers over 100 years ago. In doing so, you will help local farmers grow, progress, and prosper. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be responsible for the full staffing process for recruitment mandates assigned to you outside the province of Quebec (Ontario, Western Canada, and the Atlantic region). You will also collaborate on the development and implementation of various HR projects and initiatives related to talent management. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, your mandate involves: • Taking responsibility for the full recruitment cycle (from job description to job offer); • Identifying and implementing various recruitment strategies (social media, sourcing) tailored to specific needs in order to maximize the attraction of qualified candidates; • Collaborating with managers and HR Business Partners, and acting as an advisor throughout the staffing process; • Maintaining regular follow-ups with internal clients and ensuring their satisfaction; • Supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager in developing and implementing various HR initiatives (employer branding, leadership development, team engagement, career paths, internal mobility); • Collaborating with the existing team to coordinate and implement initiatives aimed at improving recruitment and selection processes and tools; • Managing and optimizing the use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); • Stay abreast of new trends and best practices in talent acquisition. This position requires occasional travel to Ontario, Western Canada, and the Maritimes.

Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in Human Resources Management or the equivalent
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience recruiting for operational and professional roles, including achievements in improving staffing processes and tools
  • You have an impressive track record of hiring across Canada
  • You are proficient in using social media for recruitment strategies and have strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • You are recognized for your rigor, proactivity, and ability to organize work and manage priorities
  • You are results- and action-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • You demonstrate professionalism, a strong commitment to customer service and the candidate experience, as well as a high degree of autonomy and good team spirit
  • You are fully bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written

Nice To Haves

  • You have worked on talent management projects or initiatives (an asset)
  • Membership in the CRHA (CHRP) is a significant asset
