About The Position

The Connect Data Entry Clerk will scan mail, enter data into the Connect System and sort mail by the sort code. Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require. Essential duties are not necessarily exhaustive and may be supplemented or otherwise revised by DHL at its sole discretion.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak English
  • Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out complicated written instructions; read and verify zip code numbers, Bills of Lading (BOLs), graphs, logs, schedules, work orders
  • Work under pressure; work rapidly for long periods and on several tasks at the same time
  • Solve problems by analyzing and choosing between several different options
  • Contact employees in other departments on routine issues and exchange necessary information on a service or cooperative basis

Nice To Haves

  • High School or equivalent training and/or least 6 months related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Scan mail and enter the data into the Connect System
  • Differentiate sort code and sort accordingly
  • Identify and recognize the ground shipment data files and manifest postage statements
