Description Summary: The Configuration Specialist I is an entry-level position responsible for configuring, validating , and testing system setups based on customer requirements. This role supports the accuracy and reliability of customer environments by following established standards and collaborating with internal teams. The Configuration Specialist I develops foundational skills in system setup, data validation, and process improvement to ensure high-quality customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in configuration, implementation, or a related technical or analytical role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Information Systems, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data validation, system logic, and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization, and validation).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and interpreting customer configuration requirements.
  • Configure and validate system setups following documented procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform data imports and confirm accuracy of system-generated results.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (SWIs) for all configuration tasks.
  • Identify issues and escalate complex configurations to senior team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation in project tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with Onboarding, Training, Projects and Product teams to ensure customer readiness.
  • Participate in training to build product and configuration knowledge.
  • Support cross-departmental standardization and process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work.
  • Other duties as assigned.
