Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a Billing Configuration Specialist who thrives on turning complexity into clarity. With over 30 programs and a commitment to evidence-based care, LVF continues to evolve to meet community needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with behavioral health billing system configurations and billing matrices
  • Experience interpreting managed care or payer contracts, including reimbursement rules and fee schedules
  • Hands-on experience with Behavioral Health EHR systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to analyze complex billing and reimbursement data and spot inconsistencies or trends
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

  • Configure the Behavioral Health EHR system to ensure accurate billing based on payer contracts and rules
  • Maintain and update the billing matrix, data dictionaries, and related EHR forms
  • Interpret payer and managed care contracts to identify billing requirements, rates, and reimbursement rules
  • Monitor payer websites and portals for updates to billing guidelines and apply changes as needed
  • Identify and resolve billing issues, including missing data, configuration errors, and rate discrepancies
  • Analyze billing data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities for revenue improvement
  • Maintain accurate contract and configuration documentation and support contract renewals
  • Import Early Intervention and Intellectual Disability services from HCSIS into Credible weekly
  • Collaborate with billing, finance, and operational teams to ensure accurate and compliant billing
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
