About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager Analyst Professional for the Space Force Range Contract. This role involves supporting baseline control of all delivered software and hardware configuration items and documentation, as well as control and analysis for both Hardware and Software baselines. The position requires reviews of all software and hardware change requests to ensure completeness and compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices. Additionally, the role includes performing audits on Configuration Items, documenting findings, and developing and deploying necessary correction actions. The Configuration Manager Analyst Professional will ensure compliance with the ECP and Deviation processes in an electronic environment, maintain revision and version control over multiple baselines, and enforce change management and change control processes throughout the development life cycle. The role also involves analyzing proposed product design changes to determine their effect on the overall product’s baseline and supporting the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience at a professional level.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Configuration Management and/or Data Management
  • Solid conflict management skills.
  • The ability to exercise diplomacy within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support baseline control of all delivered software and hardware configuration items and documentation.
  • Control and analysis for both Hardware and Software baselines.
  • Reviews of all software and hardware change requests submitted for approval to ensure completeness and compliance to company specific guidelines and industry’s best practices.
  • Perform audits on Configuration Items, document findings and develop and deploy necessary correction actions.
  • Ensures compliance with the ECP, and Deviation processes in an electronic environment.
  • Maintains revision and version control over multiple baselines being worked and/or fielded simultaneously.
  • Ensure that existing change management and change control processes are strictly enforced throughout the development life cycle.
  • Analyzes proposed product design changes (drawings, software version descriptions and installation instruction, software assembly structure, technical orders, interface control documents, configuration items) to determine the effect on the overall product’s baseline.
  • Support the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates.
