About The Position

DIGIT is seeking a Configuration Management (CfM) Analyst to work as a member of a Configuration Management team responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration management system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of configuration data, and supporting ongoing configuration management operations. As a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to U.S. federal government agencies, Empower AI is the prime for a $807m task order in support of the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Digital Infrastructure Technologies (IDT) DIGIT (Digital Innovation for GSA Infrastructure Technologies) task order driving digital transformation and delivering continuous improvement and business value to its customers. Requirements

  • Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • ITILv4 Foundation Certification within 120 days after hire
  • Proven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision
  • ServiceNow CMDB Micro Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
  • Work is performed under minimal supervision.
  • Maintain standard working hours per the DIGIT contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours
  • Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments with the ability to use practical experience and training to determine how to accomplish tasks.
  • 4-9 years of experience and bachelor's degree
  • Experience as a remote worker demonstrating time management and self-discipline with cultural change management and Agile mindset.
  • 2 years of direct Configuration Management experience
  • Direct experience in Data Management; data manipulation based on different factors
  • Direct experience in Data Model(ing)

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in the Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Slack, and ServiceNow.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, update, and implement configuration items (CIs), control configuration baselines
  • Performing Operational activities as defined by CfM policies and procedures
  • Fulfilling CfM service requests as assigned
  • Mentoring the organization on CfM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of reports as needed
  • Collecting and reporting on metrics as required
  • Performing CfM audits as directed
  • Identifying service improvement opportunities
  • Mentoring and helping direct configuration management specialists
