About The Position

ASRC Federal Highland Technology is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support a government customer located in Arlington, VA. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining systems configuration management processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and external products. The analyst will perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard project requirements, configurations, and are logistically sustainable. Additionally, the role includes designing, developing, automating, and maintaining productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve systems modeling and development, as well as designing and implementing build procedures for product development and use. The analyst will also be responsible for identifying, collecting, cataloging, releasing, and managing information throughout the project's lifecycle, including archiving and project closeout, and implementing and managing appropriate access control to protect sensitive project information. There may be opportunities to develop company-wide configuration standards and train developers on configuration management tools and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Secret level government clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working in support of technical teams.
  • Ability to work on-site two days weekly in Rosslyn, Virginia

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using ServiceNow ITSM functionality
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint

Responsibilities
