About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Configuration Analyst Level 2 to join their team in Oxnard, California. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and involves planning and coordinating project documentation, analyzing design changes, and managing modification records to ensure customer contract requirements are met. The analyst will review contracts, apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, and coordinate changes with various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in configuration management, document control, product lifecycle management, or similar
  • Working understanding of CM principles and practices (e.g., baselines, change control, configuration identification, status accounting, audits)
  • Experience supporting or administering change management processes (ECR/ECO/CR/CI or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Hands-on experience with at least one PLM/CM tool (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, PTC, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling engineering and product data
  • Solid organizational skills; able to manage multiple change packages and priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or production systems is a plus (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter, Enovia, and/or Costpoint

Responsibilities

  • Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
  • Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
  • Coordinates modification records for management control.
  • Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
  • Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
