About The Position

Conference Services Manager – Fannie Mae (Plano, TX) Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Conference Services Manager to support their client, Fannie Mae, at their modern Plano, TX campus. This role oversees three large meeting rooms plus a newly designed HUB—a versatile event space accommodating up to 100 guests. All events are internal only, serving Fannie Mae employees and onsite tenants. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hospitality-forward environment and enjoys making meetings and events run seamlessly.

Requirements

  • A hospitality mindset —think hotel concierge level service.
  • A confident, engaging presence—almost a "game show host" attitude when welcoming guests or addressing a room.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, client-facing corporate environment.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Minimum Management Experience
  • 1 year Minimum Functional Experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, trainings, town halls, and internal events across all reservable spaces.
  • Partnering with Room Reservations to manage event requests, calendars, and space assignments for smooth scheduling and optimal utilization.
  • Conducting pre-event walk-throughs to verify room setups, layouts, and AV/tech needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (catering, facilities, security, AV) to deliver exceptional, well-orchestrated events.
  • Creating and managing event materials including agendas, signage, name badges, table tents, and more.
