As a member of the Conference Services team, you will be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office duties and errands. Requirements

  • High school diploma or associate degree.
  • Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs)
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls eloquently, manage office emails, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate appointments & planning meetings for Conference Managers
  • Prepare, proofread, and format reports, presentations, and other documents. Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation and records.
  • Accurately prepare and distribute memos, emails, and other internal communications. Liaise with clients, vendors, and hotel operating departments
  • Order and manage office supplies, keeping track of inventory and ensuring office is well-equipped.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in systems, such as restaurant revenue, schedules, or financial records.
  • Assist with planning and organizing office events, meetings, conferences, or team-building activities.
  • Ensure the office space is tidy and functional, managing administrative tasks like photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
