As a Conference Planner, you will contribute to the operation’s success by coordinating details for conferences, meetings and special events. You will offer personalized solutions for our clients and work with our operations team to make sure we exceed our client’s expectations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of planning experience.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones and makes reservations for clients.
  • Plans for use of the conference center.
  • Communicates to operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual as needed.
  • Finalizes all planning details with clients and distributes to all operating departments.
  • Checks all conference rooms and ensures Audio Visual equipment are set according to customer standards before client arrives.
  • Provides business center services when requested.
  • Tracks information in the database and runs end of day reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
