One of the most respected commercial concrete subcontractors in the country is expanding into the Dallas–Fort Worth market and seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations. The company has a track record spanning decades and a reputation for delivering complex tilt-up and cast-in-place projects with excellence. The target project profile includes large-scale tilt-up warehouse and distribution facilities (250,000–1,000,000+ SF). They also boast a best-in-class equipment fleet managed through an in-house equipment company, including a batch plant, laser screeds, and a full fleet. Requirements

7+ years of field superintending experience with a concrete subcontractor
Tilt-up experience required
Deep working knowledge of tilt-up panel construction: layout, casting, bracing systems, and erection
Technical expertise in tilt-up concrete with the ability to communicate clearly to field staff
Experience managing large concrete pours including pump/truck sequencing and crew coordination
Strong understanding of concrete quality control, curing, and finishing standards
Proven ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specs, and shop drawings

OSHA 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

Direct all field operations on tilt-up concrete projects from mobilization through final acceptance
Lead and manage field crews, labor, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution
Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
Oversee panel layout, embed placement, pour sequence, bracing, and erection operations
Ensure concrete placements meet mix design specifications, weather conditions, and quality standards
Enforce all safety protocols, conduct daily toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and field documentation
Coordinate equipment, material deliveries, and crane/pump scheduling
Manage RFIs and communicate field conditions and changes to the Project Manager promptly
Mentor and develop field personnel - lead by example
