About The Position
Firma Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Placing & Finishing Foreman to join our growing team. This role involves supervising and leading concrete placing and finishing crews, coordinating daily production activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The foreman will also be responsible for reading construction drawings, conducting safety inspections, monitoring concrete processes, and completing daily reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete placing and finishing.
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial concrete construction.
- Ability to lead crews while maintaining production, quality, and safety expectations.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead concrete placing and finishing crews.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and daily production activities.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Conduct daily FLHAs, toolbox talks, and site safety inspections.
- Monitor concrete placement, finishing, curing, and protection procedures.
- Complete daily reports, timecards, and production tracking.
- Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, clients.
