We are looking to add a Concrete Foreman to our Civil team in Dallas, TX. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals who have a proven track record in managing concrete projects, with preference in w/ww environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of heavy civil concrete experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Experience constructing municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete methods, formwork systems, reinforcing steel, embeds, and water-retaining structures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Experience coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise concrete crews performing formwork, reinforcing steel coordination, concrete placement, and finishing activities.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals and project schedules.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is installed correctly.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades to maintain workflow.
  • Oversee construction of water/wastewater structures including: Clarifiers, Aeration basins, Digesters, Pump stations, Wet wells, Valve vaults, Headworks, Concrete tanks and process structures.
  • Verify layout, elevations, dimensions, and alignment before concrete placement.
  • Ensure proper installation of formwork, embeds, waterstops, anchor bolts, sleeves, and other cast-in-place components.
  • Monitor concrete placement activities to ensure quality, proper consolidation, finishing, curing, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing schedule impacts and rework.
  • Coordinate equipment, tools, deliveries, and manpower to support planned work.
  • Mentor and develop carpenters, laborers, and other craft employees.
  • Maintain daily reports, production records, and quality documentation.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and short-interval scheduling.
