About The Position

We are looking for a CONCRETE MOLD CARPENTER to join our DOSWELL, VA plant. As a CONCRETE MOLD CARPENTER with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications. Requirements

Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used.
Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to step up 20 inches.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.

Responsibilities

Perform general tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and preparing molds for wet casting processes
Mix, pour, and finish concrete into molds for wet cast production, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Collaborate with with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in troubleshooting any issues with equipment or production processes.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds, tools, and equipment.
