About The Position

Queens Carbon is developing next-generation low-carbon cement and supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) that reduce the carbon footprint of concrete while maintaining or improving performance. Our team combines scientific research with practical concrete testing to develop innovative construction materials for a more sustainable future. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Concrete Materials Laboratory Technician to join our growing R&D team. If you enjoy working with concrete, laboratory equipment, and physical testing, this is an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills while contributing to the development of new sustainable cement and concrete technologies. The Concrete Materials Laboratory Technician will support the preparation, testing, and evaluation of cementitious materials, mortars, and concrete mixtures. The majority of the work is hands-on laboratory testing following ASTM procedures. A typical day may include preparing aggregates, batching and mixing concrete, casting concrete specimens, measuring fresh concrete properties, conducting compression tests, recording results, and maintaining a clean, organized laboratory. Previous concrete laboratory experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who have experience with construction materials, manufacturing, laboratory work, or related technical fields.
