Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of a local trade union, or willingness to become a union member.
• 3-5 years of experience in the construction trade.
• 2-4 years of experience in a sub-foreman or leadership role.
• Ability to manage own time, and time of other construction industry personnel efficiently.
• Ability to motivate, develop, direct, and lead a team.
• Prior leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

• A CDL is desired but not necessary for hire.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate reporting of materials, equipment, and hours of work.
• Management and safety of the personnel on his/her crew.
• Ensuring the safety of the public.
• Ensuring regulatory and safety measures are maintained.
• Operate a variety of power equipment and use other machinery as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned under the direction of the Superintendent or other management.
