About The Position

The Concrete Finisher is responsible for ensuring the proper placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete for large structures. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to company safety standards and protocols.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil, roadway, or structural concrete construction.
At least 3 years of experience with concrete finishing.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to follow safety procedures and jobsite instructions.
Ability to read, interpret, and execute plans, specifications, and layout with direction from Foremen and Superintendents.
Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.

Nice To Haves

Experience working on DOT or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
Operate finishing tools including screeds, floats, and trowels.
Ensure proper curing and surface finish standards.
Work closely with the foreman and carpenters during placement operations.
