About The Position
Skillforce is hiring an experienced Concrete Carpenter for a two-week contract project in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role involves setting slab edge forms for concrete pads in an active construction environment. The schedule is 40 hours per week, and the pay is $30 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a concrete carpenter or in concrete formwork.
- Ability to read measurements and follow layout instructions.
- Proficiency with basic construction hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience setting slab edge forms is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set, align, and secure slab edge forms for concrete pads.
- Measure and lay out formwork according to project specifications.
- Ensure forms are properly positioned, level, and secured before concrete placement.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and dismantle forms as needed.
- Follow construction plans, safety procedures, and job site requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
