About The Position

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Carpenter to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. The Concrete Carpenter will build and install various types of forms, placing and finishing concrete, and ensuring high‑quality workmanship on every project. Support construction activities by performing concrete-related carpentry tasks as directed by the Foreman and Lead Construction Laborer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on concrete experience
  • Proven experience in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete
  • Ability to build, install, and remove various formwork systems
  • Experience placing, spreading, screeding, and finishing concrete
  • Strong reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • High level of safety awareness
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
  • Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
  • Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
  • Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
  • Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
  • Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in concrete patching, repair, and resurfacing
  • Ability to operate small equipment such as power trowels, cut‑off saws, and compactors
  • Knowledge of mix designs, additives, and cure‑time considerations
  • Proactive, self‑motivated attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • OSHA-10 in construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, install, and remove wood, metal, and modular/prefabricated concrete forms.
  • Place, spread, screed, and finish concrete to required specifications.
  • Perform forming, pouring, and finishing tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools including trowels, floats, screeds, saws, grinders, and levels.
  • Take accurate measurements, ensure proper elevations, and verify layout dimensions.
  • Understand concrete mix types, curing methods, and techniques to prevent cracking, defects, and surface imperfections.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and safely.
