Concrete and Soils Laboratory Technician
About The Position
This opening is for an entry level Concrete, Soil and Asphalt Laboratory Technician in the construction materials testing in our Bakersfield office, this role will also be traveling to the field preforming field work and sampling. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable incident history.
Nice To Haves
- ACI/CALTRANS/AASHTO/ASTM certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Performing laboratory testing activities for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel and aggregate materials at the direction of the Laboratory Manager and under the supervision of qualified technicians.
- Candidate shall have good written and oral communications skills with clients and peer employees.
- The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment with limited direct supervision and be proficient with multiple software platforms.
