This opening is for an entry level Concrete, Soil and Asphalt Laboratory Technician in the construction materials testing in our Bakersfield office, this role will also be traveling to the field preforming field work and sampling.

Requirements

High School Diploma
ACI/CALTRANS/AASHTO/ASTM certification a plus
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable incident history.
Additional on the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Performing laboratory testing activities for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel and aggregate materials at the direction of the Laboratory Manager and under the supervision of qualified technicians.
Candidate shall have good written and oral communications skills with clients and peer employees.
The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment with limited direct supervision and be proficient with multiple software platforms.
