About The Position

As concierge at The Gant, you will assist guests with coordinating their Aspen experience from pre-arrival to departure providing personalized service to ensure a memorable stay. You will assist with various guest and homeowner needs, including dining reservations, transportation, event tickets, and local area information. Your goal is to enhance the guest experience by delivering exceptional service with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience required.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while multi-tasking, strong organizational skills.
  • Effectively communication both verbally and written in English, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Basic understanding of hotel operating systems (SMS, Alice, Microsoft Office) and their functions.
  • Must be able to perform most Front Desk and Reservations functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, attractions, and events, is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and efficient assistance to guests and owners by answering questions, giving directions, and arranging or confirming lodging, transportation, event tickets, recreational activities, and restaurant reservations.
  • Greet all guests upon arrival, check on their comfort, offer assistance, and follow through on any requests during their stay, ensuring all arrangements and confirmations are completed.
  • Assist guests with requests involving other departments such as Maintenance and Housekeeping and be familiar with the procedures in these areas to facilitate smooth service.
  • Maintain an accurate system for processing and communicating guest requests, ensuring all are handled promptly and efficiently.
  • Contact guests prior to their arrival to inform them of available guest services.
  • Keep a current, detailed, and organized collection of information on local activities, events, and businesses. Stay updated on current events and special activities in the area and be able to provide additional information as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with local businesses and contacts to enhance guest experiences.
  • Ensure the guest service area is always organized, neat, and presentable, maintaining a professional personal appearance.
  • Be prepared to assist with tasks in reservations, front desk, or as a bellman as needed, such as greeting buses, moving luggage, and directing traffic.
  • Organize staff participation in local promotions and follow up with appropriate appreciation. Assist with and be aware of employee morale programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring a smooth operation and exceptional guest service.
