About The Position

The Lone Mountain Ranch Concierge serves as a central point of connection between our guests and the exceptional experiences the Ranch has to offer. Whether assisting with reservations, coordinating activities, or managing special requests, this role ensures that each interaction feels thoughtful, genuine, and elevated. With a focus on personalized service, the Concierge helps craft stays that reflect the unique charm and magic of the Ranch, fostering memorable moments for every guest. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, warm, and composed—someone who thrives in a guest-facing environment and has the intuition to anticipate needs before they arise. They are calm under pressure, energized by problem-solving, and committed to delivering service that feels both gracious and personal. A strong communicator and proactive team player, they take ownership of each guest interaction and contribute meaningfully to the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a guest services or concierge role in a resort, ranch, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong familiarity with the Big Sky area, including outdoor recreation, dining, and cultural offerings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm and professional tone.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident using guest service platforms and booking systems; tech-savvy and resourceful.
  • A genuine desire to contribute to a positive and memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with guests in a polished, approachable manner, ensuring all needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Manage and confirm reservations for dining, activities, and accommodations, tailoring each experience to the individual guest.
  • Provide insightful and personalized recommendations on local attractions, outdoor adventures, and events, aligned with guest interests.
  • Coordinate special requests including transportation, spa appointments, private guides, and celebrations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate clearly with restaurant, activities, front office, and other Ranch departments to ensure cohesive guest service.
  • Address any guest concerns or last-minute requests with a calm, solution-focused approach.
  • Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, itineraries, and feedback to support consistency and personalization.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest experiences through added-value offerings, special touches, or thoughtful gestures.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth flow of communication and service.

Benefits

  • Seasonal Bonus Program: All hourly employees will be able to participate in our seasonal bonus program. Each hourly employee will receive $1 per hour worked per season and $1.50 per overtime hour worked. Employees who are terminated or resign from their position before the end of each season, will not be able to participate in this program. If the season is cut short due to business levels, the employee will still participate in this program. Positions that are contracted at a shorter term, like the Outdoor Youth Adventures program, this employee will be able to participate in this program. All hours worked outside of these seasonal ranges will not apply to this bonus program.

  • Ranch Gratuity: In addition to your hourly rate, you will receive a ranch gratuity unique to us.
  • Ranch Wide Activities: In the summer season, free access to horseback riding, Outdoor Youth Adventures Program, Yellowstone National Park Tours, yoga, and mountain biking (if openings available). During the winter months, access to 50 Miles of world renown cross country ski trails.
  • Discounted stay in the cabin at Lone Mountain Ranch: 25% off the current best available rate when booked in advance, or a special employee rate when booked 14 days before stay (does not include taxes, fees, and gratuities).
  • Arrival Transportation: Complimentary transportation to and from the airport.
  • Uniforms: Receive free uniforms from the ranch.
  • Opportunity to move to Full-Time, Regular Status and receive additional benefits: Eligible after 1 full year and minimum of 1560 hours worked. Full-time status includes Vacation and Sick pay, medical, dental, life and vision insurance. The Ranch will pay for 80% of the premiums for employees and any dependents.
