About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with reservation and communication systems.
  • Strong communication skills enable the Concierge to interact effectively with diverse guests and colleagues, ensuring clear understanding and satisfaction.
  • Multitasking and organizational abilities allow the Concierge to handle multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency supports the use of reservation systems, communication tools, and record-keeping software essential for efficient operations.
  • Knowledge of local resources and cultural sensitivity enhances the Concierge's ability to provide personalized and relevant recommendations, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Experience working as a concierge in a hotel, residential building, or corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of local area attractions, transportation options, and dining establishments.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Certification from a recognized concierge association (e.g., Les Clefs d’Or).

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests or residents promptly and courteously, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding local attractions, transportation, dining, and other services, offering tailored recommendations and assistance.
  • Manage communication between residents and internal departments or external service providers to resolve issues and fulfill needs efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of resident preferences, requests, and feedback to enhance future service delivery.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as logging deliveries, managing keys, and maintaining the concierge desk area.
  • Stay informed about community events, promotions, and changes in services to provide up-to-date information.
  • Complete apartment tours while delivering high energy service.
