About The Position

QSL Management is a senior living company that provides resort-style homes for older adults and promotes wellness, security, longevity, family, joy, and self-worth. The Concierge position is at The Barclay at Sarasota and provides a welcoming, high-level hospitality experience for residents, guests, and employees. The Concierge handles front desk and reception duties, helps maintain the lobby and front porch, supports lobby activities, and assists with general office tasks. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. The position pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of general office experience, including reception experience.
A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
Professional and polished demeanor, proper grammar, and a pleasant voice tone.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, oral, and written skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask while managing multiple interruptions.
Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation, including weekends and holidays as requested.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the older adult population.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide hospitality to residents, guests, and employees as the first point of contact.
Answer the phone courteously using proper greetings and direct visitors appropriately.
Ensure appropriate visitor check-in and check-out procedures are followed.
Keep the lobby and front porch clean and free of trash.
Assist with activities in the lobby near the phone and front door, and lead weekend or evening activities when there is less traffic.
Assist with other general office tasks upon request.
