About The Position

Blakehurst is seeking a Part-Time Concierge (Valet) to become an integral part of our team! We cater to those who prefer the more exquisite side of life. After all the years of hard work they have put in, they deserve it. Your main focus is to provide assistance to our residents and other departments as requested.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively, handle a multitude of tasks at one time, and provide a customer service attitude at all times.
Typing and experience with computers and other business machines required.
Ability to move 25 - 40 pounds.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.

Responsibilities

Delivers packages, flowers, prescriptions, etc., to residents’ apartments and other departments.
Assists residents and guests arriving and departing from the Community.
Serve as back-up for the receptionist as necessary.
Parks and retrieves resident & visitor vehicles upon request.
Performs other services for residents upon request.
Performs clerical tasks including making photocopies, sending fax, etc.
Effectively exhibiting the Hospitality Promises, which is the blueprint for “The Blakehurst Way.”
