About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Lexington, Kentucky. This customer-service-focused security role involves engaging with people and building connections in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Two schedules are listed: full-time, Monday through Thursday, second shift, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and part-time, Friday through Sunday, second shift, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., plus Monday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The role pays $16 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
