About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining safe and sanitary working conditions, operating a cash register, taking orders, serving food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, and adhering to all Peoria Civic Center/ASM Global Food & Beverage policies and procedures. The position requires positive customer interaction and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Illinois food handler (ServSafe) certification required.
• Must have an email address for receiving schedules and other work-related communication.
• High school diploma/GED
• English language fluency, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of commercial food and beverage preparation and service processes.
• Ability to follow directions and effectively perform required tasks.
• Ability to count and control inventory as needed.
• Ability to operate cash register/data terminal for entering customer orders and completing transactions.
• Ability to operate an electronic timeclock for keeping track of hours worked.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work areas.
• Follow register operation procedures.
• Take orders and serve food and beverage items in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Follow all Peoria Civic Center/ASM Global Food & Beverage policies and procedures.
• Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner.
