About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the Wings Event Center, ensuring a smooth and positive flow of business for both internal and external guests. This role involves directing staff performance, motivating the team, and ensuring adherence to Greenleaf Hospitality Group policies and procedures. The supervisor will also be responsible for staff scheduling, labor expense control, money reconciliation, and cash handling, while fostering an engaged and productive work environment.

  • Knowledge of location of all WEC function space and names of rooms
  • Knowledge of all catering set-ups and standard room settings
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and proper chemical handling
  • Knowledge of POS machines with the ability to train staff quickly and effectively
  • Communicate effectively with guests, management and coworkers to their understanding
  • Speak, read, and write English precisely and clearly
  • Strong presence on event days
  • Resolve any guest issues that may occur, leaving the guest with a positive experience
  • Ensure that all associates are being productive and providing personalized guest experience
  • Create brand loyalty through the guest service experience and product value
  • Responsible for a smooth, positive flow of the business with regards to both internal and external guests

  • Train and job coach front staff

  • Hold associates accountable to standards, communicate to manager if situations arise that may require counseling and participate in counseling

  • Communicate to staff the vision and goals of Wings Event Center and Greenleaf Hospitality Group
  • Hold effective team huddle. Go over any special instructions and/or changes needed for the shift
