The Concessions Cashier is responsible for accurately ringing up and selling products efficiently. The Cashier should be comfortable approaching guests to offer services and sell products. In addition, the Cashier must be willing to help fellow team members complete tasks. This role involves performing sales transactions in a timely fashion, interacting with customers and resolving complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, observing customer purchases and differentiating between standard portions, replenishing condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas, keeping the pastry case stocked, and ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures, as well as all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements. The role also includes completing and following up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction, understanding and describing menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing, assisting with inventory and product management for the stand, and utilizing conflict resolution and de-escalation skills. The position requires the ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, demonstrate physical stamina and agility for long periods of mobility, and lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
