About The Position

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

Requirements

Must be able to perform cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports.
Must be able to maintain sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
Must be able to enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
Must be able to make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
Must be able to follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
Must be able to interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Must be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
Must be able to observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions.
Must be able to replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
Must be able to keep pastry case stocked.
Must ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Must ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
