About The Position

The Concessions Manager is responsible for the efficient, professional, and profitable operation of all concession and beverage outlets within the venue. The Concessions Manager oversees daily operations, staffing, guest service, inventory controls, revenue generation, and compliance with all company policies and procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining quality standards, driving sales performance, and creating a positive work environment for all team members while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or greater in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Culinary Management, or related field preferred.
  • Degree requirement may be substituted with three or more years of experience in Concessions Management, Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Operations, or a related position.
  • Experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, labor controls, guest service standards, and operational procedures.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS systems, inventory systems, scheduling software, and timekeeping platforms.
  • Nationally recognized food service sanitation certification preferred.
  • Nationally recognized alcohol service certification preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
  • Must have good positive energy throughout the day
  • Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to move quickly
  • Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all concession and beverage outlets
  • Drive revenue performance and maximize sales opportunities through product offerings, promotions, and upselling initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and ensure timely response to guest needs
  • Ensure all concession locations are prepared, stocked, and operational prior to opening
  • Monitor staffing levels and schedule team members appropriately based on business volume and forecasting
  • Ensure concession and beverage displays are maintained, fully stocked, and aligned with promotional campaigns
  • Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure company standards are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with venue leadership, marketing, events, and beverage teams to execute activations, promotions, and special events
  • Assist in implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained and adhere to company policies, service standards, and operating procedures
  • Supervise, coach, counsel, and develop team members to maximize performance and productivity
  • Participate in hiring, training, and disciplinary processes
  • Maintain all training materials, SOPs, and operational documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, food handling, and alcohol service regulations
  • Report any safety concerns, accidents, incidents, or compliance issues immediately to venue leadership
  • Maintain working knowledge of all concession locations, equipment, emergency procedures, and facility access points
  • Be fully versed in all POS systems, operational software, inventory systems, and communication platforms utilized by the operation
  • Ensure menus, signage, and promotional materials are accurate, current, and maintained in excellent condition
  • Monitor labor costs and operational expenses to support financial goals and profitability
  • Complete daily operational reports, inventory records, labor tracking, and other administrative responsibilities accurately and timely
  • Ability to make sound business and operational decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
