About The Position

This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service in a concession setting. You will handle food and beverage preparation, maintain cleanliness, manage cash transactions, and ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Class B gaming license.
  • Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
  • 1 (one) year counter serving experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experiences preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of all beverages, and the ability to make flavored and other specialty drinks with consistency.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
  • Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to learn and use technical equipment (espresso machine).
  • Ability to handle stress under pressure.
  • Ability to provide quality guest service.
  • Ability to accurately exchange money with the guests.
  • Ability to reconcile all cash and money at the end of the day.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify MCR’s values and demonstrate excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Practice, support, and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
  • Accurately respond to and attend to guest requests, including preparing food and beverage items, wrapping food products, and displaying them.
  • Prepare and maintain concession counter cleanliness before, during, and after guest service.
  • Assist guests with food and beverage selections, explaining specials or answering preparation questions.
  • Follow standards for display cases; maintain, clean, and restock as needed.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering food efficiently and in a friendly manner, which may include counter pick-up or table delivery.
  • Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions at the end of the shift.
  • Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
  • Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishment needs, and food spoilage.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
