Requirements

• Prior bartending experience required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a high volume entertainment based environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle a variety of customer service situations are required
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to handle inclement weather, due to theatre doors being open.
• Occasional kneeling/bending while restocking is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds.
• Must be able to work within an environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals.
• Must be able to work in crowded spaces; Constant motion is often required
• Ability to stand and move about the theater throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment

Nice To Haves

• Bartending license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, maintaining and breaking down designated bar area.
• Counting in and out all inventory items every shift.
• Serving snacks and beverages to guests in a timely and responsible manner.
• Maintaining designated bar area clean and well stocked.
• Promoting positive guest/client experience and superior customer service.
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during events at The Chicago Theater.
• Setting up and operation of designated bar areas throughout The Chicago Theatre.
• Serving alcoholic beverages to patrons in a timely and responsible manner, while providing superior guest service to patrons of the Chicago Theatre.
