Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in food engineering
  • Candidate for the engineering profession
  • Relevant experience (internship and/or employment) in the field of food engineering
  • Excellent command of French, spoken and written
  • Leadership, autonomy, versatility, creativity, ability to manage priorities, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards in Quebec and in design
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit software

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical design and coordination of various food service projects
  • Work in close collaboration with engineers and technicians in developing solutions adapted to client needs and carrying out projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential) in food services
  • Conduct surveys of existing installations
  • Analyze, design, and adapt building-related installations
  • Perform construction cost estimates
  • Write technical specifications and reports
  • Provide assistance with work supervision
  • Perform other related tasks, including administrative ones
