Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building mechanics design.
  • Mastery of French and English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD, REVIT, Office 365 Suite.
  • Excellent ability to perform technical analyses, propose innovative solutions, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines and fee budgets.
  • Collaborative spirit and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
  • Strong team spirit, mentoring skills, and support for colleagues.
  • Sense of organization and priority management.

Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with engineers and technicians in developing solutions adapted to client needs and carrying out projects for the commercial sector in building mechanics.
  • Collaborate in the development of the expertise unit for commercial projects within the Company.
  • Act as a close advisor to clients.
  • Perform surveys of existing installations.
  • Analyze, design, and adapt building mechanics installations.
  • Participate in construction cost estimations.
  • Participate in writing technical specifications and reports.
  • Provide assistance in work supervision.
  • Perform other related tasks, including administrative ones.
