Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Candidate for the engineering profession
  • Relevant experience (internship and/or employment) in building electricity
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French
  • Leadership, autonomy, versatility, creativity, ability to manage priorities, and ease of communication

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards in Quebec and building electrical system design.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
  • Successful completion of industrial electricity, electrotechnics, or any other course related to building electricity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys of existing conditions or installations.
  • Contribute to the development of plans on AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Perform technical design and coordination of building electrical projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions adapted to client needs in various sectors (institutional, offices, commercial, cultural, and residential).
  • Analyze, design, and adapt electrical installations related to buildings.
  • Perform calculations in various sub-domains of building electricity (fire alarm, lighting, distribution, etc.).
  • Participate in the production of plans.
  • Write technical specifications and reports.
  • Perform construction cost estimations.
  • Provide support for work supervision.
  • Perform various related tasks, including administrative tasks.
