About The Position

KLA is seeking a Computer Vision/Machine Learning intern in its e-Beam division to research and prototype cutting-edge image processing and machine learning algorithms for next-generation products. The work supports KLA’s inspection ecosystem, including high-resolution e-Beam tools that help semiconductor manufacturers identify and understand defects and other yield-impacting issues.

KLA uses deep learning algorithms for defect detection and classification and is exploring generative and diffusion models for SEM image simulation and image quality enhancement.

Requirements

• Working experience in one or more of the following: image processing, machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, or applications to 1-D or 2-D signals such as image restoration, detection, or classification.
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python, or MATLAB.
• Currently working toward a master's or PhD-level degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
