Computer Vision/Deep Learning Engineer
About The Position
Join Apple’s Video Computer Vision (VCV) organization, which develops people-understanding technologies for real-time video streams and higher-level reasoning algorithms. The team has delivered biometric features such as Face ID and Optic ID, along with computer vision algorithms used in Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad. As a CV/ML engineer, you will develop technologies for Apple’s next-generation products, innovating and delivering effective, efficient, and well-tested computer vision solutions from prototyping through shipping. These solutions are often deployed on edge devices. You will collaborate with a team to influence future user experiences and hardware used by millions.
Requirements
- Background in machine learning and deep learning.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in object detection, vision transformers, and multimodal networks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creativity and curiosity in solving highly complex problems.
- Experience in biometrics, face tracking, gaze tracking, classical image processing, or computer vision.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Master’s or PhD in a related field.
