About The Position

Supports the testing and basic troubleshooting of computer systems and software. Position also includes writing test procedures and reports, some domestic travel (1-2 weeks per year), occasional 2nd or 3rd shift testing, and performing other similar tasks to support the team.

Requirements

Basic troubleshooting of software and hardware issues.
Ability to follow established test procedures and scripts.
Ability to record test results and update documentation.
Ability to prepare technical reports.
Ability to complete all required documentation, pre and post test write ups, and correspondence with test leadership.
Compliance with all operational, security, and safety guidelines and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Some domestic travel (1-2 weeks per year)
Occasional 2nd or 3rd shift testing

Responsibilities

Performs routine software and hardware testing of computer systems using provided test tools.
Performs routine maintenance and upgrades as required.
Follows established test procedures and scripts to validate the performance of software and hardware.
Reports testing failures, faults, or inconsistencies as instructed.
Records test results, updates documentation, and assists in preparing technical reports.
Completes all required documentation, pre and post test write ups, and correspondence with test leadership.
Performs basic troubleshooting of software and hardware issues.
Assists senior technicians with more complicated test scenarios and special projects.
Complies with all operational, security, and safety guidelines and procedures.
