About The Position

As the Computer Systems Specialist you will be responsible for computer data systems management, including system support; for operations of the enterprise’s computer network; for user training and support; and for coordinating the resolution of computer network and connectivity issues with external vendors. Specific responsibilities include: Implements data systems policies and procedures per enterprise guidelines and regulatory standards. Assures timely assistance in resolution of data system hardware, software and peripheral issues. Assures preventative maintenance of the system hardware and software. Complete Helpdesk Tickets, generally around password help and software support. Oversees the operational security of the electronic systems, including virus alerts and user activity. Maintains the computer back-up system.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
• A minimum of four (4) years of computer experience and demonstrated competency in computer hardware and software use is required.
• CompTIA A+ Certification a requirement (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality at all times
