About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to support the design, development, integration, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. The role applies advanced expertise to technical challenges and supports IT systems for command or enterprise environments. It is part of the Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources and solutions to U.S. government customers across defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental missions.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Typically, a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 5 or more years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD Level II certification or higher.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related discipline and 2 or more years of experience.
Cloud design and development experience.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2010, 2013, or 2016).
Experience with Atlassian products, including JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with ServiceNow.
Experience with business process automation.

Responsibilities

Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprise.
Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work, which may include logical and physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, and IT systems engineering.
Evaluate new network technologies and recommend to project managers whether to integrate them into the existing network.
Develop documentation for new or existing systems.
