About The Position

This is a hybrid position and allows for one day of remote work per week based on business needs. As a Computer Support Business Analyst 2, you’ll play a key role in the development and configuration of our new financial system. Responsibilities include system configuration, integration, testing, workflow and business logic design, process mapping, and documentation. You’ll also review business requirements, conduct research, and assist with additional projects as needed. Working collaboratively with stakeholders and cross functional teams, you’ll help ensure the team meets key milestones and deadlines. This limited-duration position runs through 12/31/2027, though the timeline may adjust based on business needs. The Clerk of the Superior Court's work provides vital administrative services that support and serve the community through maintaining the records of all cases filed in the Superior Court. We are an essential service helping people navigate through unfamiliar territory during challenging times with knowledge and empathy, creating safe spaces for residents of the county. We are seeking a Business Analyst who is proficient in the tools, software, and analytical methods essential to support complex system and workflow changes. You should have a strong understanding of core BA responsibilities, including interpreting business needs, analyzing processes, and translating requirements into clear, actionable solutions. The ideal candidate adapts quickly, collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical partners, communicates findings clearly, and maintains exceptional attention to detail with documentation. Success in this role relies on balancing technical analysis with strong relationship-building skills to ensure stakeholders are aligned and project goals are met. Throughout the onboarding process, you will meet with the Supervisors, teams, and the admin team regularly to discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with current policies, procedures, and strategic measures. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business administration, or related field and Two or more years of computer systems business analyst experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and make recommendations for information technology strategies and projects.
  • Track, solve, test, and troubleshoot software development issues and enhancement requests.
  • Develop an advanced knowledge of the departmental business functions, information systems terminology, information needs, and workflow to plan, design, and propose changes/improvements to internal systems.
  • Analyze user needs and develop system requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between the department and Information Technology (which may include 3rd party vendors) to ensure the assigned department’s project needs are being communicated effectively and are on schedule.
