About The Position

The Computer Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing company wide computer hardware/software support. This role involves maintaining all office computer hardware/software, installing, testing, and repairing computers and peripheral equipment, and managing software installations and maintenance. The administrator will troubleshoot and analyze hardware/software issues, research market improvements, and assist in computer-related projects. Maintaining appropriate documentation, performing scheduled hardware maintenance, and assisting the IT team with QA are also key responsibilities. The position requires consistent attendance and works on-site.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to present technical and business information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent computer hardware skills, including PC and peripheral troubleshooting and repair.
  • HelpDesk Experience: manage end-users, Help remote employees Required
  • Experience with Cloud Base Backup solutions & Business Continuity Required
  • Scripting (Powershell) Required
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Experience with Linux. Required
  • Experience with VDI, HyperV or VMWare Required
  • Active Directory Required
  • Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Required
  • VoIP Phone system experience required.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write effectively in English.
  • Ability to interpret documents such as plan documents, memos, letters, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports, meeting notes, project documentation, and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to effectively address or resolve customer service issues within guidelines of the position.
  • Strong reasoning and analytical ability.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to exercise reason and logic to resolve practical problems and create effective solutions.
  • Ability to analyze all relevant information and a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Valid, class C license in state working with no adverse driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Works on site with consistent attendance.
  • Maintain all office computer hardware/software directly and with contractor support as required.
  • Install, test, and repair of computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Install and maintain software.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze hardware/software issues and provide support to satisfy end user requests.
  • Research current hardware/software markets and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Assist in the implementation and completion of computer-related projects.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Oversee and perform scheduled maintenance on computer hardware as necessary.
  • Assist IT team as requested, including QA.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
