About The Position

KBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. A strong candidate will have background provisioning computer accounts, troubleshooting connectivity or configuration issues, and interacting with General/Flag officers and their staffs.

Requirements

An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
Security + Certification.
5+ years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points.
Knowledge of USAF and US Space Force Information Technology policies and procedures.
Self Starter with the ability to work independently.
Accustomed to professionally working with senior leaders.
Experience with providing technical guidance to users.
Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).

Nice To Haves

BA/BS Degree
Headquarters, Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software.
Provide technical guidance in use of Microsoft Windows, peripheral/shared drive mapping, browser compatibility / configuration.
Configure / maintain government-issued cell phones.
Troubleshoot error messages, provide technical solutions, and open trouble tickets.
Support users at all STARCOM HQ locations.
Support and resolve issues within PWS-specified timelines.
Provide systems accounts for NIPRNet and SIPRNET and systems support.
Set up or modify user access to the classified internet and e-mail accounts.
Troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues.
