About The Position

The Computer Specialist position provides assistance to staff and manages technology hardware for the entire bank. Initial training will take place in Everest, KS, and then the employee can work from Everest, Horton, Atchison, or Oskaloosa.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science or two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the Bank’s Managed Service Provider relationship. Ensure employees are receive adequate service.
  • Support the installation, additions, moves, and changes to equipment systematically within terminal management systems.
  • Acts as a liaison between the business and the vendor, in providing day to day support for existing customers and escalations.
  • Will facilitate, manage, and provide resolution to issues with equipment or implementation.
  • Oversees the team installations and assists where and when needed with day-to-day functions.
  • Maintains records and audits of equipment, spacing, and spare parts inventories. And reorders when necessary.
  • Helps coordinate changes, schedules, and monitors repairs while working with Business Lines to find an adequate time for replacement.
  • Provides labor for the physical and logistical efforts in non-technical tasks required for hardware and other electronic equipment.
  • Provides services in the physical dismantling and demilitarization of hardware.
  • Follows all proper processes of equipment classification sanitization. Stages, organizes, performs labor on, and moves hardware.
  • Prepares reports and analysis for documentation and derived operational requirements.
  • Prepares reports and recommendations concerning management of hardware and processes.
  • Follow all bank policies and procedures.
