About The Position

Artera Technologies, LLC is seeking Computer Scientists to join their team. This role involves developing software drivers, applications, and embedded software, processing digital signals, and working with client/server applications. Responsibilities include analyzing and implementing processor technology, operating systems, architectures, and interfaces, as well as reverse engineering software/code. The position requires developing code in Assembly and high-level programming languages, communicating work status, and participating in software peer reviews. For senior roles, there is an opportunity to lead a software development team, ensuring work completion aligns with technical process constraints. Effective communication of plans, progress, potential problems, and solutions is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university and 3-5 years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test (for Level 1)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university and 5-10 years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test (for Level 2)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university and 10+ years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test (for Level 3)
  • Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
  • TS/SCI with Appropriate Agency Polygraph security clearance
