Computer Scientist
About The Position
The Computer Scientist will lead complex data exploration and analytics projects using statistics. This role involves evaluating AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on AI usage in strategic intelligence. The position requires continuous auditing, testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV) and AI risk mitigation to shape the future of analytics. The Computer Scientist will conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, using scientific techniques to correlate data into various narrative products for informed analytic decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI or ML validation.
- Experience with building and evaluating outputs and performance of advanced analytics, particularly LLMs and/or agentic AI.
- Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and "go or no-go" criteria clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, OR 12+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing in lieu of a degree.
- TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years or ability to pass a CI Poly)

- Experience reviewing and evaluating technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards.
- Experience developing and executing TEVV procedures.
- Experience evaluating AI system performance, robustness, and fairness.
