As a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Engineer, Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the United States Department of State (DoS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Security Technology (ST). You will play a crucial role in designing and engineering various computer-aided design efforts that directly support the life-safety mission under the Protective Technology and Countermeasures (PTAC) contract. Support the Protective Technology Branch (PTB) mission, providing life-safety services to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel serving abroad in over 200+ locations. The CAD Engineer, Senior is charged with utilizing various computer-aided software to design, engineer, and implement solutions with adherence to established specifications and standards. Collaborate with multiple interagency (IA) partners, senior DS officials, subject matter experts (SMEs), and PTB personnel to drive the mission of the Department forward.
